The Lithuanian Language Corpus at Vytautas Magnus University
The corpus consists of the texts, published after 1994 and selected so as to reflect the present day written Lithuanian. Local and central periodicals are included as well journals and magazines meant both for expert and lay readers. Fiction and other books and documents form a considerable part of the corpus (see diagram below).

Central and local newspapers, popular and specialized magazines, fiction and other books and documents.
This corpus is a general type monitor corpus, compiled with a view on readership, not text production, consisting of full texts in a great variety of genres.
