Welcome to my home page!

Shortly about myself. In 1997 I became interested in Corpus Linguistics and started to work at the Centre of Computational Linguistics of the Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) in Kaunas, Lithuania. Since then I have done a few interesting studies and projects with corpora that some of them are presented in these pages.

In November of 2004 I have defended a doctoral dissertation at the Vytautas Magnus University.

Fields of research:

• statistical texts analysis,
• parallel corpora,
• terminology of corpus linguistics,
• collocation extraction,
• computer-assisted translation,
• machine translation.
